the lonely pixel

Self-taught photographer, originally from Vancouver now living in Montréal, Lisa Howarth (aka The Lonely Pixel) is greatly inspired by Montréal’s uniqueness and enchantment. She uses both vintage film and digital cameras, creating an escape in to a dark dreamy world, made more so with the absence of people.
Her subjects range from nature, architecture, montage and Montréal landmarks, yet all possess a similarly soothing tone.
Notably, her work is featured on many book covers and was displayed at the GBK Primetime Emmy Awards Gift Lounge in Hollywood, CA.
